Capitol reissues eight McCartney albums

Capitol Records will reissue eight albums by Paul McCartney next month. The eight albums are the same as released by McCartney's previous record company Concorde in recent years, as part of the Archive Collection.

The reissue concerns only the regular albums, so without any bonus material. The records are released on CD and 180-gram heavyweight vinyl. In addition, they also appear on colored vinyl as a limited edition, giving each album its own color: McCartney (1970) appears in red, Ram (1971) in yellow, Band On The Run (1973) in white, Venus And Mars (1975) in Red and Yellow, Wings At The Speed Of Sound (1976) in orange, McCartney II (1980) will be transparent, Tug of War (1982) in Blue and Pipes Of Peace (1983) in silver.

That Capitol only releases the albums that previously appeared as part of the Archive Collection, seems to indicate that this project will continue.
The eight albums are available from November 17th.
